Meaning of "direct competitor" and "competes directly with"
Paybuyer advertisers are willing to pay you if you call them before you buy from one of their direct competitors.
In Paybuyer, you collect money if you call an advertiser and your call is a randomly selected winner.
But, to collect the jackpot for winning, you must show that you bought from one of the advertiser's direct competitors.
What is the meaning of direct competitor?
There is no exact, crystal clear meaning. The basic idea is that the competitor:
- sells the same or very similar product or service as the paying advertiser sells, and
- competes with the advertiser in the same geographic area(s).
In case of dispute, we at Paybuyer will be independent judges. However, in close cases, we will generally side with advertisers.
If an advertiser abuses the process, we will knock them out of the Paybuyer system.
