Why just 10 cents?
Advertisers on this site pay buyers with lottery tickets worth 10 and 20 cents each on average.
Why so little?
The idea is to make Paybuyer such a great deal for advertisers that lots of them sign up.
Google's ad system, which is based on a prior system by a company called GoTo.com, started in a similar way. GoTo charged advertisers just 1 cent per click.
1 cent was so little that thousands of advertisers began using the system. Then prices rose (here's a bit of the history).
Now, advertisers pay Google big money per click. For instance, auto insurers, like GEICO, pay Google over $20.00 per click, that's 2,000 times the initial 1 cent (see for yourself; click this link and put auto insurance into the keyword tool).
By the same logic, if Paybuyer catches on with advertisers, prices will rise and you'll get a lot more than 10 cents.
